Last-minute savior!
We booked a last-minute stay and were super relieved! The place was clean, and our room had an awesome river view. Tracy was a gem on the phone, making everything smooth. Only bummer? The noise from the bar at night was a bit much but didn’t ruin our fun. Breakfast was delish, too!

The hotel is beautifully decorated with a lovely atmosphere, and the staff were exceptionally attentive. The common areas were easily accessible, providing a stress-free environment beside the picturesque River Wyre.
More comfortable seating in the common areas would help.

The Shard Riverside offers a comfortable stay with spacious rooms and excellent amenities. The restaurant served wonderfully prepared meals, with the breakfast featuring a variety of options including fresh fruit and a hearty full English. The staff were attentive and ensured all my needs were met during my stay.
The noise from adjoining rooms was a bit disruptive.

The Luxury Family Room was bright, spacious, and inviting, featuring modern decor that made it feel upscale. It was equipped with a kettle and tea supplies, perfect for a cozy evening in after a long day.
Had to weather a cold shower at 10am on a Saturday which really threw a wrench into the morning routine, especially ahead of a wedding. The walls felt thin, making it hard to ignore the clatter of neighbors coming and going, which disrupted any hope for a peaceful night. Lastly, the bed size for a double seemed cramped, warranting a request for an extra camp bed to ensure adequate sleeping space.
